Why me?
Firstly, I have good self discipline and I can set a good role model.
I am those type of people that will do their very best and I will do my job well.
I am also very responsible and will not give up easily.
Sad to say, as this is my first year,I did not have much experience. But, be assured that I will strive my best to serve for ProEd and the school. I will be willing to help anyone in need and I will try my best to guide those in difficulties.
Lastly, choose me as it has always been my dream to be a councillor since primary school ( when it's called prefect).

This is my slogan: Simply face it
In council, we will face a lot of challenges and also failures.No matter what happen or how impossible the task is, simply face it. For me,I don't aim for perfect,I just aim to improve, learn from my mistakes and do my best.
This is my motto:自强不息
As everyone knows, this is the school's motto. I chose this motto because in council and in life, we must learnt to be resilient and never give up easily. Life is like a mission, as long as we persevere and determine, we will succeed.

As councillors, we must set a good example for others. We must also guide and help our peers when they are in need. We must also guide our peers back to the track if they are getting worse in behaviour or academically.We could influence them too.

My reasons for joining Council
Joining council can actually help me to nurture my leadership skills and it can help me in the future. It can also build up my confidence and it will help in my communication skills when i grow up and work.
One other main reason that I wanted to join council is the making of new friends. After joining council, I can make more friends.Having more friends is always better than having no friends.
Council can also train me on other aspects such as punctuality and organinsing events.After all this. you will then get experience.Throughout all this process, I will also learnt how to adapt and be resilient.

Me and myself
I'm Sheng Xiang from 1p4.
Information:
I only have an older sister with my parents at home.We lived in HDB flats and I graduated from Chua Chu kang Primary School.I was Chinese-educated and I communicate using Chinese at home.
Basically, I loved sports like basketball and badminton. They make me feel refreshed after a tiring day.However, I also loved strategic games like the Chinese Chess. Like everyone, I listened to songs in my freetime and I preferred Chinese songs to English songs. I would occassionally go for a jog in the park a stone's throw away from my house.
My favourite colour is green, no particular reasons, it just look soothing to my eyes. I loved to be organised and I normally sort out my tasks in notebooks and put the worksheets in my file.
